All sessions include the time and talent of Courtney, a pre-session consultation by email (or scheduled phone call if you prefer) to discuss the vision for your session. All sessions are customized to be completely unique for a fun and personal experience. If something isn’t listed please contact us anyway because we are always open to do any kind of shoot – within reason.

Only a short part of the photography fee goes towards the actual taking of pictures. The other longer part goes towards post-production editing, correcting and enhancing. Courtney spends about two weeks on most sessions, going through every single picture, eliminating the mediocre from the best. After selecting the best pictures she brings every single one to a level of perfection using tools in Photoshop and Lightroom. She will mail you a $9.00 USB drive or a free DVD with two sets of the same images once completed… One set will be the HI- resolution images and one set will be resized for web usage.  Always use the full resolution images when printing and use the resized set of pictures for social media, websites, etc. Courtney does not show you any images taken during the shoot and she has the right to deleted images she doesn’t approve of. She could take 50 images you still will only get the best of the best (minimum of 20 images).

I’M WORKING ON A BUDGET, WILL YOU GIVE ME A DISCOUNT?
Our packages have been carefully priced according to the Tampa Bay area and we have some of the lowest prices for the value and quality of our work in the area. Example: Going rate for maternity, or a family session $300-1000. Where as we charge $75-150.

I DON’T PHOTOGRAPH WELL AND AM SUPER AWKWARD—CAN YOU HELP ME?
Yes, of course! I understand that you might not have experience being photographed and I’m here to help.  Through my easy shooting style and natural posing, I make sure that you look natural and lovely in your photos.  Some people take a little longer to warm up, and in those cases I make sure that you feel comfortable and relaxed while we are shooting. I promise, I make it painless and fun, and it won’t be nearly as bad as you think!

HOW MANY IMAGES WILL I GET FOR MY FAMILY SESSION?
We take an unlimited amount of pictures during your session time. We make sure to get a great variety of pictures of you and your loved ones. We suggest different poses and also encourage candid shots as well. We also always do anything the client suggest pose wise. You will receive a minimum OF 20 complete images and could have as many as 50-80 depending on how many people are in your family.

YOU’RE THE PHOTOGRAPHER FOR US! HOW DO WE RESERVE OUR PORTRAIT DATE?
Great!  The next step is to contact me through the “contact us” page to let me know  what kind of session you are wanting and date so I can check my availability, and we can do a consultation at the same time.

WHAT IF IT IS RAINING THE DAY OF MY SESSION?
Not a problem, weather happens it’s Florida. 🙂 We will reschedule ASAP.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Wear what you feel comfortable and confident in. I would avoid logos, busy patterns, and tennis shoes. I suggest layers/textures. In group photos, color coordinating is always more pleasing to the eye. Wear clothes that represent you and who you are. Feel free to bring a change of clothing like one dressy outfit and one more casual. For more suggests you can always e-mail me i’m happy to help.

DO YOU ONLY OFFER DVD OR DO YOU OFFER PRINTS?
We offer a USB thumb drive for $9. or a free DVD.  You will have all the rights to your images. You can go to target, or shutterfly, places like that to have your prints made for a lower cost. We can do professional prints so Contact Us for a PDF Price List and Details.

DO YOU CHARGE A SEPARATE SITTING OR SESSION FEES?
No, the sessions I offer include everything you need (the session itself, post-session editing, images, and DVD or $9 USB Thumb drive ).  Please go to my “Price” page for all of the prices and details.

WHAT LOCATION SHOULD WE CHOOSE FOR OUR SESSION, AND IS TRAVEL INCLUDED?
Typically sessions take place either outdoors, or in my clients’ homes. For outdoor sessions, I’m happy to provide location suggestions depending on the look and feel you are going for (beach, Urban, Park, etc). For home sessions and custom location requests, travel is included with every session, however if it’s a long distance there may be a travel fee of $25, or $50, but you will know all of this during our e-mail or phone consultation.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN DOING PHOTOGRAPHY?
Since middle school. But we started The Way Branch Studio in 2010-crazy how time flies!

WHAT’S YOUR STYLE?
A mix of photojournalistic, posed and candid photography.
I use mostly natural light photography.

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
Cash, or check.

WHEN ARE SESSION ARE BOOKED?
Friday, Saturday, some Sundays.

IS THERE NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT TO BOOK YOUR SESSION?
Yes.
If you cancel your session and fail to reschedule within that calendar month there is a non-refundable deposit fee. If I cancel our session and do not reschedule then I will refund you your deposit. That deposit will be deducted from your session fee total. 

DO YOU SELL GIFT CERTIFICATES?
Yes! They make great gifts that don’t expire for quite some time!
You can go to the contact me page and send me a e-mail requesting a gift certificate and envelope. I can ship it to you, shipping only being $1.50 and I can e-mail you a Paypal invoice and once invoice has been paid I can ship it to you ASAP.
